New H2 Ultrasound Pics

The docs are predicting another big 'un. They say over 10 pounds by delivery date (12/4). At this ultrasound, they estimated it was already at 8 pounds, 3 ounces with a 17 oz margin of error. Amazing.

The Agenda is Set

Today the Man picked out what we were going to do. While we were still cuddling in bed, he said we were going to:
  • take a bath with mommy
  • go to Home Depot (he loved the Christmas displays and toys there) - we agreed that we would spend 10 minutes playing
  • get new books at the library
Here is a great image of him trying on a Santa hat. I actually had to bribe him with another 5 minutes at the store in order to get him to keep it on for a picture. He didn't look sad about it though, did he? :o)

Trick or Treat!

Going over the pictures, it looks like I wasn't even there, but I swear I was. In fact, I was the one taking him to each door. Paul was the official escort and our buddy Sean was Benyamin's official hand holder (Benjamin decided that and wouldn't walk in the street holding anyone else's). Like last year, the Man was quick to figure out knocking on doors is a source of candy. Every door we left he would say "Daddy, I got more candy!" at the top of his lungs. One person who was "out of candy" said he would do a trick for the Man instead. He did a backflip right in his entry way. Benjamin didn't look impressed and just asked again for his candy. It was cute/funny/embarassing all at once.

Big boy bed!

We decided to transition the boy to a big boy bed. Although he has never even tried to climb out of his crib, we thought it would be nice to use the crib for H2 as needed for naps. We got him a twin bunk bed, but only put together the bottom level for now. We thought we might as well skip the toddler bed - it isn't exactly like we are small or short people! :o) He loves it! It is nice to be able to lay with him to sing him to sleep also.

We surprised him right after his bath.
