Corvallis Knights Game

We took the Man to his first baseball game. It was a Corvallis Knights game. The Man loved it and ate a hot dog and a half all by himself. (We can never get him to eat that much at home. It must have been the atmosphere!) He was initially terrified of the gigantic knight mascot, but then he was obsessed with it and followed it all over the stadium. We were stalking him! It was hot that day and the poor kid went to take a break and Benjamin waited outside his locker room for him. The kid came out sans costume and apologizes profusely. We felt horrible but the Man wasn't going to let us leave until he saw him again. The kid had to suit up again for the 7th inning stretch, so we lucked out, saw him and went home just in time for a giant meltdown.

You can see Paul and Benjamin at the top of the chairs and the night hiding from kids down by the field. The Man was literally stalking him around the stadium.

And he makes a break for it behind the barrier!
When we finally got to see him, the Man was scared. Isn't that how it always goes? :o)
