19-20 Weeks

We had a great week this week. We had a great playdate with the gang before heading to Ashland to visit family and for Cedar and Kevin's beautiful wedding.

Here are Finn (~7 mo), Zak (19 weeks), and Benjamin hanging out together.
Benjamin was exhausted this entire trip. We had driven down super late on Friday night, after our friend Heidi and Tsultrim's going away party. They were in our birthing class and had their precious Clara just a short time after Benjamin was born. They were leaving to go back to Tibet early Saturday morning. The village where Tsultrim's family is from is at over 8500 ft above sea level, so they have to take several days to get up there and acclimate Clara to the conditions. What a trip! We will miss them but are glad they will be back to visit periodically.

Here is Kelly and her son Zak with Heidi and Clara and also a picture of Heidi's husband Tsultrim with Clara. The wedding on Saturday took place at the foot of Grizzly Peak. Paul's sister Kristi was a bridesmaid and came up with her husband, Mark, for the ceremony. Kristi has just finished her residency and this was the first time she has gotten to meet her nephew! They had a great time together... at least until "it" whined and was handed back. :o) BTW, Kristi took her CA boards just after they got back to Cali and starts in her new family practice on Aug 1. Keep your fingers crossed for Aunt T!

Ashley: diva in training at (almost) 11Sunday and Monday were spent visiting family and driving back to Philomath. The Man didn't sleep much the entire time we were there. No routine for him any time soon!

This picture was taken in the Weeks' backyard while The Man was enjoying a little diaper free time. Mel censored him with a flower for the pictures. I think the colors turned out really cute. After all, you can't have enough teenage blackmail pictures!
Great Grandma Fern with B-ManThursday, we had my company's annual picnic. They had a departmental competition involving a tug-o-war, three-legged race, ball race, water balloon toss, and horseshoes. Go major gifts! We won! Our prize was a coveted award for the inaugural games... a hunk of wood painted gold with a fake stuffed animal beaver stapled to the top!

Playing Bingo with our good friends Anne, Will, Lydia (3), and Charlotte (11 mo) Van Kley. Have a good week everyone! I will try and post more often. I never seem to get enough time with The Man now that I am back at work, so I admit this has taken a back seat. There is nothing wrong with that, right?

(Did I mention we took him to see Transformers in the theater? I liked the movie, but he must have thought it was boring since he slept through most of it! :o)

Enjoy this video of his giggles. He had a geeky laugh and gets the hiccups every time he does laugh, but we love it!
