Our due date came and went. We had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday, March 13th, the day after our due date. I think the doc got something started because my water broke that night although no contractions followed. After 36 hours of trying to start labor at home, we headed to the hospital. And after a wonderful nine months of people asking us if we know what gender of baby we are having, we finally find out! Benjamin Price Hennan was born today at 3:17 pm, after a short yet complicated labor and birth by c-section. Mom and baby both did well though and Benjamin will spend a night or two in the NICU to make sure his lungs are doing okay after inhaling meconium. A rough start, but it can only get better from here!
